WhatsApp conversation charges are based on the type of conversation:

  • Marketing Conversation (81 paisa): Includes promotional and announcement messages.
  • Utility Conversation (41 paisa): Includes transactional, follow-up, and update messages.
  • Authentication Conversation (20 paisa): Includes OTP messages.

A WhatsApp conversation is defined as a 24-hour period starting from the first business message sent to the user. During this period, you can exchange multiple messages, and you will be charged once for that entire conversation.

If a WhatsApp conversation initiated by your business fails to be delivered, you will be refunded for that conversation at the end of the day. The deducted amount for any undelivered messages will be credited back to your Prepaid Wallet.

We recommend maintaining a minimum balance of INR 1000 in your Prepaid Wallet to ensure uninterrupted service for all ongoing and future conversations. If your wallet balance reaches zero, your WhatsApp API service will stop working until you top it up.

You can add funds to your Prepaid Wallet by logging into your dashboard and going to App Settings > WhatsApp Credit. We recommend adding a minimum balance of INR 5000 or more to ensure smooth operations.

Charges for WhatsApp conversations are deducted in real time from your Prepaid Wallet. You can track your usage and charges by checking the WhatsApp Credits section in your dashboard under App Settings.

Yes, you can use your existing WhatsApp number. However, the process depends on the type of number:

  • For WhatsApp Application Numbers: You may need to delete the WhatsApp account for the number you want to apply the API to. You can do this through the WhatsApp Settings.
  • For WhatsApp API Numbers: If the number is already being used by another business on WhatsApp API, it can be migrated to Grow with WhatsApp after the 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) pin is disabled from your current BSP.

Once migrated, the number will only be accessible through Grow with WhatsApp’s dashboard and mobile app.

Yes, you can make regular voice calls with a virtual number tied to Grow with WhatsApp. However, WhatsApp voice and video calls are not supported through the WhatsApp Business API.

  • Subscription charges and WhatsApp conversation charges are non-refundable.
  • You are only eligible for a refund if the WhatsApp API fails to start or activate on your dashboard.
  • If you choose to enable GPT for your chatbot, charges will apply based on usage. These charges will be deducted from your Prepaid Wallet. The specific pricing will depend on the volume and type of queries handled by GPT.

  • You can manage your subscription plan directly from your dashboard. This includes upgrading, downgrading, or changing your billing cycle (quarterly/annual). Any changes made will be reflected in your next billing cycle.

If a one-time campaign fails to deliver to a user, the deducted amount for that conversation will be refunded back to your Prepaid Wallet at the end of the day.

If your balance is low, we recommend topping up your wallet to ensure uninterrupted communication. You will receive notifications when your balance is running low. Simply go to App Settings > WhatsApp Credit in your dashboard to add funds.
